Ocean Shores has grown significantly over the past five years to become the largest town in the Brunswick Valley.
Situated four kilometres north of Brunswick Heads, Ocean Shores has beautiful ocean and coastline views from elevated residential blocks. Access to waterways at Ocean Shores is via Marshall's Creek. The surfing beach of New Brighton is accessed by Ocean Shores residents and visitors to the area. Also, the beach located at the village of South Golden Beach is utilised by Ocean Shores residents and holiday-makers. Both of these beaches are patrolled during the summer holiday period.
The Ocean Village Shopping Centre is a central meeting place for Ocean Shores residents. It has a variety of stores including a Bi Lo supermarket, a green-grocer, cafes, hairdressing salons, Mitre 10 hardware store, real estate agents, accountant and solicitors offices, as well as jewellery, gift, homewares and clothing retailers.
The Ocean Shores Tavern provides quality meals from Simon's Garden Restaurant 7 days a week. While in Ocean Shores enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and hospitality at this family tavern.
The Ocean Shores Golf Course is very popular. Locals and visitors enjoy the challenge of this first class 18 hole course (No. 9 in NSW). Golf, lawn bowls, a swimming pool and excellent dining make the Ocean Shores Country Club a popular holiday venue. Golf and accommodation packages are also available.
